Rates apply to credits above the attainment threshold, even when a lower retention target applies.
How this works
The calculator finds the highest tier your credits attain, or keeps your starting tier if you meet its retention target. It then multiplies credits above that tier's attainment target by its rollover rate, up to its annual cap.
If the estimated tier is below your starting tier, we show zero rollover credits in both rule periods. This is a conservative assumption; Qantas' published FAQ does not explicitly explain rollover eligibility after a downgrade.
For example, starting at Bronze and earning 1,000 credits gives a Gold estimate: (1,000 − 700) × 50% = 150 credits rolled over.
Rollover launches on 8 December 2026, with the first eligible membership year-ends in December 2026. If your membership year ends from August to November 2026, the credits earned in your next membership year are the first eligible for this benefit.
The later-2027 option previews the announced changes to retention targets. It does not assume these targets begin with the December 2026 rollover launch.
This calculator is for standard annual status. It excludes incoming rollover credits and special status arrangements. Confirm your eligibility and final tier with Qantas.
